As we head into an El Niño summer, we are making progress and working very hard for upcoming testing in September. It may seem like a long time away, but as always, events come a lot faster than we think.

All of our prospects have been voted in as full members now, and we have not had this many members in the guild since our original class back in 1998! It seems very fitting to me that this is so as we are going into our 25th anniversary; history tends to repeat itself and I am glad that membership at least is repeating.

We don’t have any events scheduled until Casa de Fruta fair at the end of September. So this is a very good time to come try out if you’re interested, and maybe become a prospect, and then a member yourself. Since we are doing detailed work, this is a very good time to be a beginner so that we will have time to spend with you one on one to work all the details of your lessons.

Overall, I am very proud of the members in the staff, and I am really looking forward to the end of our fair season coming up and our testing.

It is a lot of work. But like our motto says: peace through strength, victory through sweat.
